Based in Wixom, Michigan, our custom-engineered, easy-to-install family of smart control and monitoring systems maximize safety and enable a treasure trove of diagnostic data to make automotive technologies accessible to more vehicles in more markets. Gary Meyers

Co-founder and CEO

Gary Meyers co-founded AKTV8 in 2014 with a mission to transform vehicle mobility with electronic suspension controls for all vehicle markets. Leveraging his more than two decades in the automotive industry, Gary has guided the company through startup and profitability, multiple rounds of financing, and strategic partnerships to position AKTV8 as a leader in next-generation automotive technologies.

Josh Coombs

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer

Driven by a passion to develop intuitive control systems that transform the human-machine experience, Josh Coombs co-founded AKTV8 in 2014 and serves as the company’s Chief Technology Officer. He brings more than 25 years of electronically controlled suspension controls and systems experience and holds more than 20 patents in suspension engineering.

Paul White

Vice President of Operations

An innovative, hands-on leader with three decades of experience in vehicle engineering and design, Paul White joined AKTV8 in 2016 as Vice President of Operations. With a diverse background that spans the automotive, commercial truck and recreational vehicle markets, Paul applies his unique combination of technical know-how and strategic vision to position AKTV8 for growth and success.

Allison Boller

Accounting+

Allison Boller joined AKTV8 in 2018. She has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting and commercial lending with a specialization in asset-based loans. Allison fills several key roles at AKTV8 including accounting, finance, and human resources.

Jake Dunda

Jake Dunda

NPD Software Architect

Jake Dunda joined AKTV8 in 2018. He has more than 10 years of experience in automotive embedded software, mobile apps, digital comms, simulation, and vehicle dynamics. Jake leads the software development for new applications of AKTV8’s control systems, mobile apps, and manufacturing test equipment.

Brad Kubiak

Software Manager

Brad Kubiak joined AKTV8 in 2019. He has more than 10 years of automotive software engineering experience and ISO26262 certification. As AKTV8’s software engineering manager, Brad is responsible for managing the software and systems engineering teams, software projects, and agile software development infrastructure.

Stephen Wieszczyk

Senior Project Manager

Stephen Wieszczyk joined AKTV8 in early 2021 with nearly 20 years of design engineering and program management experience in automotive, defense and advanced manufacturing industries. As senior project manager, he works with AKTV8’s leadership to manage all planning, execution and delivery of projects, manages other program managers. Additionally, Stephen plays a key role in the development and certification of AKTV8’s quality management system.
