AKTV8 Launches PressureTech™ Sensor Platform for TPMS, Onboard Scales

WIXOM, Mich. — AKTV8, a leader in developing intelligent, easy-to-install automotive control and monitoring systems, today announced the release of PressureTech™, a configurable, made-easy platform combining tire pressure, suspension pressure and load monitoring into a single telematics-ready system for the commercial truck, RV and automotive aftermarkets.
PressureTech™ can be used as a stand-alone system with a AKTV8’s custom mobile app to configure multiple vehicles and trailers and set separate alerts for each or in combination with the AKTV8 iAir® range extender and telematics gateway to unlock even more features. The system’s unique features for heavy trucks include an at-a-glance “Drive Mode,” and the ability to share vehicle profiles and settings along with full TPMS and load data across users. Similarly, the PressureTech™ onboard scale system accommodates lift-axles and Frost Law adjustments.

Available in both cap style and inflate-thru style, PressureTech™ TPMS sensors are easy to set up, lightweight, and robust with conformal coated electronics and serviceable battery to last the life of the vehicle. PressureTech™ kits are now available through Amazon and other fleet distributors.
